I recently had the honor and pleasure of watching the young women and men of OUCT E-Cell present their projects to a group of faculty and alumni. Their awe-inspiring presentations ranged from technical ChemE to fashion design. This wide range of areas is a clear indication of their courage to step outside their comfort zone, their strong desire to “color outside the lines." The sponsors of every project or activity these students have been part of, are beyond impressed! As someone who has gained an insider’s view of this group over the last 4-5 months, I see in these young students, all the right ingredients – desire to learn, humility, confidence – to be trendsetters in their own way. They believe in the uniqueness of every individual, and lovingly exploit this uniqueness to complement each other on their projects. It is such a joy to watch these students collaborate! I wish them all the best in their endeavors.
